The breakdown of the process and philosophy of JobGpt as a Job application tracking System, that provides the job applicant a method for finding and searching for jobs that match their cost of living needs as well as their other accommodations.
The first thing that needs to be down is determing the goals around employment. My opinion is going to be that having a living wage is the first and most important goal to start with, their is a hierachy of needs and for a job getting paid enough to live should be the first goal so we can start with Personal financiing and budgeting.
This is a Google doc that allows for the new beta testers to be able to learn how to update the tracking sheet with Jobs and from the tracking sheet we can create the custom Resume
The first step is to revamp your resume by putting it in the Harvard Resume Tempalate, a 2 page simple texted based resume that is desgined so that a a human and a Application Tracking System (ATS) can read it.
This step is still a manual one but we can take the current resume or linkedin details and migrate it to the resume template to make sure that the information is presented in this new format.
Lastly we have to make sure the bulletins are action based, start with a verb, and preferable have some metric attached to them.
Jobgpt is a ChatGpt AI that will take the job application create a ATS Keywords list. Then it takes your Resume and compare it against the list. After determining what keywords are missing from the list the GPT Model will rewrite sections of your resume to add the keywords and skills to your resume so it can match 80%+ of the keywords needed to pass the ATS system.
The resume is compared to the job using the ChatGpt model and keyword spreadsheet. This shows whether the keywords exist in the resume or not with a simple yes or no. This simple yes or no will resemble the actions of the ATS that isn't using nuanced decisions but precise matching of keywords to determine the 'value' of your resume with a goal of only accepting resumes that are 75% matches or better. Using the comparison step of Jobgpt we can determine the % of match that your current resume has, and if it is lower then 80%, jobgpt will rewrite the resume sections to add the keywords needed to get the resume above 80%.
The resume rewrite process involves a strategic and focused approach to ensure that your resume aligns closely with the job description, particularly aiming to achieve an 80% or higher match. This step includes a detailed analysis of the job requirements and identification of key skills, technologies, and experiences mentioned in the job posting. Your existing resume is then meticulously revised to incorporate these elements, ensuring that relevant keywords, technical proficiencies, and role-specific experiences are highlighted. The goal is to maintain the integrity of your professional background while optimizing the resume to pass through Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and resonate with hiring managers. This involves not only adding missing skills but also rephrasing and restructuring content to make your qualifications stand out, ultimately positioning you as a strong candidate for the role.
